Question Draw a Leader where the leader line is shorter than the arrowhead

I need to know if there is a way for the arrow heads and the leader lines to be dis-associated. Meaning when you draw a leader line the line following the arrow is equal the length of the arrow head. If you don’t have enough room for both the arrow and line the arrow will not show up. Where can I change that setting so that the line can be shorter then the length of the arrow head or draw just the arrow without a line.

Thanks for your answers in advance.

I'm not sure if there is a better way to do this, but what I usually do is draw the leader making the line longer than necessary, explode it, and then adjust the line..

    or, make my arrowhead smaller..

Yeah, that's our biggest problem, it's for our electrical department and the areas that they have to work in are extremely restrictive.

You could create a custom arrow and play around with different extension line lengths.

Here is a link to how to customize your own arrow heads Custom Arrowheads

    or

you could use Plines and make starting width "0" and ending width "5", or whatever.
