    Default Slab perimeter - Bug?

    Hi all,

I'm finding that cutting the geometry of slabs using either the 'Create shaft...' method or by using 'Cut Geometry' with a void extrusion has no effect on the value of the slab's perimeter, as reported in its property dialog, a floor schedule, or ODBC.

I'm thinking this is a bug.
    Anyone?
    thx...

    You're right Jos.
Never noted this before because I've never had to schedule slab perimeter for any reason.
Other than attaching some other type of element t the slab perimeter and scheduling that (a railing comes to mind) the only workaround I can think of is to create another floor type (call it 'Fill Floor') and create the sketch for it by locking lines to the opening sketch. Since the Fill Floor and the opening are exactly the same the Fill Floor won't show up in the model. You can then use the schedule to subtract one floor type perimeter from the other.
This workaround will only work with a shaft opening, not a cut opening or void.

Until we can schedule sweeps this is about all I can suggest.

    Thanks Dimitri
I'll submit this to the factory. I'm trying to generate formwork estimates, which is why the slab's perimeter has become more relevant at this end.
