Zoom extents automatically when you activate a viewport

Hi,

I have a template that when I create a Viewport and activate it, it automatically zoom extents every time! I realise I can lock the viewport but would like to find out if there is a system variable or something else that controls this behaviour.

I have used the express tools to export the system variables to a file and compared them to another drawing that does not do this, but still couldn't find anything! Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks thats sorted it.

I had a feeling it was something to do with UCSFOLLOW, but did not realise you can have different values for each viewport!

Also look into UCSVP.

Ah ha,

That explains another question I was asked today, my customer could not get the viewport to remember a specific UCS.
