Is it possible to create a schedule like the one attached? I can't figure out how to create 4 separate columns for North/south/west/east walls. Thanks in advance!

Use Shared Parameter for that purpose.

Actually there are several options.

If it is just going to be in the schedule, I wouldn't use a shared parameter, but rather a project parameter.

You might also conside using a schedule key if there will be a lot of typical data entry.

Ok, I've tried playing around with it and can't seem to get it. How do I use these project parameters to identify the four walls as north/south/east/west? Thanks for the responses!

If you're trying to link those parameters to the actual walls, you're out of luck. Can't be done as far as I can tell. Right now there is no good (intelligent) way to do room finish schedules. Very annoying.

Certain portions of this are not 'automatic' per se.
The project parameters are added in the schedule, not as part of the wall, so Revit won't detect which walls are north or south and fill a value in accordingly.
You create them from the properties dialogue of the schedule and then they are available as fields in the schedule which you can then fill out.
If you want separate values for Base and Wall for each direction (N, E, S, W) you'll also have to create separate parameters for those i.e each of the fields you want fille dout needs to have its own parameter associated with it. Schedule keys and formulas can really speed up the process of filling out the sched and you can re-use the schedule format from one project to the next.

I just looked at this Room Schedule and not only do I think it's a great layout, but it's a very useful way to see how to set up parameters (to allow for 'subcategories'). thanks a bunch irusun; i'm still learning this program and this was extemely helpful.

I am an ADT user and am trying to learn this Revit progam. Its a very cumbersome an inneficient interface.
How on earth do I extract the room finish schedule data to fill in the data for the N S E W portions of the walls. If ADT can do this certainly Revit can (that was sarcastic)
Shouldn't Revit be able to tell that if the boundary of a room is a cleanroom panel, that the material to put in the NSEW fields is "CRP" or whatever I define it? Surely this program can do that?
I read the entries above, and even opened the shcedule as well. Not sure how it works. Any suggestions? I am sure I am missing something here it cant be this complictaed, or maybe it is.
