Plotter cannot print in A1 landscape using the roller except only when you use manual use.The plotter model is a HP 455A.

When you say "manual use" do you mean sheet instead of roll? Does it print regular 8.5 x 11 (prorate) OK?
Also see if you can turn on Auto rotate to see if it will turn it to save paper?
