    Default Place/sketch rebar

Can anyone give me some tips on using these tools? I am finding them very unfriendly. I am trying to show concentrated wall reinforcement in my concrete wall elevation and have coordination between my plan and elevation. I am trying to place a bar in place apply a rule and look at it in elevation. Can I pick the direction to apply the rule? When I place it on a foundation wall plan and select that wall, it places into the wall above. The VR does not include the wall above at all. This just doesn't seem like an easy process and I am so frustrated. Should I just go back to detail lines? Seems a shame since there is a tool.

Can you rehost rebar to another wall?
