    Default ADT 2005 Abnormal Termination

Yesterday I lost the ability to print and save from Desktop. Each attempt to perform these actions results in the ...C++ abnormal termination error. (There may be more issues but I told feel like looking for them if I can perform these basic functions.) Prior to this problem I had uninstalled my demo version of Revit and installed the latest Microsoft software verification tool so I suspect one of these actions is the culprit. I tried reinstalling ADT without success. Can anybody offer some repair suggestions?

If you uninstalled revit, most likely it messed up apps needed for ADT to function. You should perform a clean uninstall.

After searching through the Autodesk discussion groups I found that a corrupt acsign.arx file will cause the termination I was experiencing. Apparently this becomes corrupted when Revit is uninstalled. This file is related to digital signatures and, since we don't use them in my office, I renamed the file to acsign.arx.old and AutoCAD seems to be working fine now.
