    Default Flow DirectioN Mismatch

I am starting to test out the mechanical systems tools within Revit, and whenever I try to create an exhaust system for my generator, I get this error.

"Mechanical Exhaust Air 1: Flow direction mismatch. Impossible to calculate flow. Check flow direction on all equipment in this system."

On my connectors I have tried numerous combinations of flow directions, but I continue to get the same result. Anyone know how or why you get this error?

    Thanks

Are you connecting the endpoint of the exhaust to anything?

In order for the exhaust system to be complete the exhaust duct must be connected to another family with a connector to represent a exhaust grill, a plenum, or other type of exhaust terminal. The connector will have a flow direction of in.

Try adding Revit's default Exhaust Air Grill.rfa to your project and then connect the end of your exhaust duct from the generator to this. This demonstrates exactly what I mean.
