Default Convert sketchy AutoCAD floor plan to to use Snaps

Our designer draws in a "sketch mode" with "sketch mind" in autocad. AND he's too old to change his mind using snap.

Is there any way we can have his drawing converted automatically to 1/2" snap module or 1/4"?

I'm just sitting there trying to figure out every corner of his drawing is in snap or not.
As you know, this relates to dimensioning later on.

Give him a template with Snap set On and don't let him know it can be switched off.

    Or an Etch-a-Sketch.
