    Hi Jay. Welcome to AUGI.

What industry are you in or intending to be in?
Architecture? Civil, mechanical or electrical engineering? Theatre? Something else?

    G'day Jay,

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the Coffee Without Cad forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

What do you mean by practise drawings? Do you just want to copy what some one else has drawn?

Would HVAC mechanical drawings work? And would you prefer design drawings or shop drawings?

I am not sure if its copying, but i want to practice my autocad skills, so any type of drawing or project with enough information to practice would be good.

    I would prefer design drawings..

    Thankyou

Jay, I would maybe recommend getting a drafting book at a bookstore and seeing the different things to practice with. Try going on e-bay and maybe find a college drafting book someone is selling that they don't need anymore. That would be a great way for you to find some mechanical drawings to practice with and learning the fundamentals of drafting/CAD.

Also, you can try to search google if you haven't already for some mechanical drawings.

I search mechanical drawings and got this site loaded with Pdfs to downloads and print out. Try some of these.

Have you looked at the sample files on the installation disk?

There are several that might fit your needs, too.
