Default AutoCAD 2008 Batch Plot to plot files or PDF's

Has anyone had trouble batch plotting to plot files or pdf's in 2008. I choose the path for where the plot files are to be created in Publish Options as I did in Autocad 2007. It only makes the first plt file in the group in that location and spools through the rest of the drawings but doesnt make the plt files. They are all plotted with the same name page setup at the same time.

Same situation using the dwg to pdf plot device provided by autocad.

In you publish options, do you have it set to do multiple sheet or single sheet dwf/plt/pdf files?

I have checked my publish options and I set it to single-page, but it still publishes all of my sheets to one file. Is there anyway to change this?

Thanks for that. It's always a simple setting.

I love that Autodesk decides everyone wants a default value turned on for new system variables.

Yeah.. No kidding.. Please tell me that there is a way to turn this "Publish Drawing" feature off. They say it is going to improve productivity, but it has effectively killed my productivity for the passed two days trying to get it to go away. For what I do, there is no point to it.

I just want to be able to print multiple tabs, but from the printer I chose, not the one that is pre-set-up in the page setup.

Please tell me there is a way to make the Publish Drawing feature go away...

We like the new variable, it saves a lot of headaches, we are still on 07 and realize the effectiveness of the new option, I hate when we publish a job and someone else gets a sheet inserted in the middle of the job, because the job is treated as a bunch of individual files.
    the system variable is PUBLISHCOLLATE
