Bhatch Problem

Hello to All AUGI Members:

I have tried to post this thread on the basic AutoCAD 2005 forum but unfortunately that forum is closed to any new threads at this time.

When I click on the hatch icon (bhatch) for the first time in a new AutoCAD session, the Boundary Hatch & Fill dialog box opens quickly. However, when I click on the button to open the Hatch Pattern Palette it takes around 25 to 30 seconds for this palette to open and display.

Is this normal..??

Does anyone else experience this type of delay when trying to open this Hatch Pattern Palette..??

Is there a way to reduce the time it takes to have this palette open..??

After the first time the palette is accessed, it then opens very quickly every time so long as it is still in the original AutoCAD session.

Any direction or assistance with this matter would be appreciated.

Please note I've *moved* this Topic (Thread) from the AutoLISP Forum to this one....

When you enter the ACAD 2005 General Forum do you see the New Thread button (refer to attached image)?

I've just tested posting a New Thread within this Forum, everything worked ok! If you still experience the problem can I please ask that you post a suitable message within the Forum Feedback Forum. By doing so you make the Forum Manager & Site Admin people aware of your problem, they can then act to correct the problem.

Mine loads in 4 to 5 seconds...

Do you have alot of extra patterns? If you have extra patterns it maybe loading them.

Also do you have this problem in other areas, such as inserting a block and click browse? If so it maybe a network and or RAM issue.
