    Default Display Order

I am sure this is relatively simple, but I have used superhatch.in ADT 2, display order was relatively easy to find. It is very important to the final product. Does anyone know what happened to diplay order in ADT 4???? Thanks

DRAWORDER is the command in which you are interested. You can invoke it at the Command: prompt by typing it - DR is the command alias in the ACAD.pgp file that ships with ADT. It is also available from the context menus - select the object[s] you want to affect [grips on, none hot], then right click and then select Basic Modify Tools > Display Order > [desired option: Bring to Front, Send to Back, Bring Above Object or Send Under Object] from the context menus.

See the attached JPG file for an image of the context menus in ADT2004.

Is there still a toolbar for the DrawOrder in ADT2007? The Help shows a ToolBar, but it is impossible to find where it resides when trying to get the Toolbars to pop up. Help!

BTW, I like the right click way. A little hard to find, 3 levels deep, but nice all the same. Problem is, I am working with luddites who refuse to use the right click for anything other than enter. Argh!

    Thanks,
    Wesley

    Sure Wes,

The "DRAW ORDER" toolbar is still there, it's just located under the acad.cui

To use this in your ADT environment you will need to load it into your ADT.cui via.. you guessed it... the CUI command.

When the CUI loads up, go to the TRANSFER tab at the top.
Load the ADT CUI on one side and the ACAD CUI on the other side.
Open TOOLBARS on each side (expand it with the + symbol)
Now click and drag Draw Order from ACAD.CUI over to ADT.CUI.

Thats it. You'll now have it in your ADT as a Toolbar you can load and place where you need it.

Isn't that also located under the express tools as a command? If so (depending on how much you really like the Acad tool bar) you could just add it to one of your other custom tool bars or pallets. Just a thought.
