Default Can't double click to edit text.

What got changed? I have to select, then issue the command to edit text or the reverse. I can no longer double click to edit text.

    Thanks

Check the CUI under "double click actions" Under "Text" make sure the Edit macro is set to ^C^C_ddedit

Also check your DBLCLKEDIT variable, it should be set to 1(2005-) or ON (2006+).

That has not changed. What else could it be?

PICKFIRST? Haven't tried it but there are other Selection Modes (tab in the Options dialog) that may be affecting this.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.

I helped a co-worker out with this same problem yesterday. PICKFIRST was set to 0.

    My DBLCLKEDIT=ON
    My PICKFIRST=1
I am running Acad 2007, so I made sure my "Double click editing" box is checked.

I still can not Double Click to edit text. Are there any other ideas?
