When I open a drawing it says there are "Proxy Graphics" present.
What are they and can I delete them or turn off the Pop Up warning?
Thx

Check your Options -> Open and Save tab -> ObjectARX Applications -> Show Proxy Information dialog box.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.

The other option is to look into downloading an object enabler to allow you to view the proxy graphics. I don't know what object enabler you will need but you can find object enablers HERE.Originally Posted by gfreddog

Some see the glass as half full, others as half empty. As an engineer I see the glass as twice as big as it needs to be. ~Unknown~
To answer your other question proxy objects are objects created with one of the vertical applications such as Architectural Desktop or Civil 3D. When someone creates a door in ADT it is a door object that plain AutoCAD does not recognize. You will need the object enabler as stelthorst mentioned.
To simply get rid of the notice when opening drawings, you can type PROXYNOTICE and set it to (0). This will just keep the dialogue from popping up.
