    Default Rendering in 2008

I don't know if anyone else has encountered this with Rvt 2008. In 2008, an attempt to render camera view works fine for the first iteration. But from the next one on, the screen or rather the program freezes up! I have to forcefully terminate the session or else, I get the famous 'Not responding' dialogue. Now, I tweaked the settings to run in OpenGl as well as the overlay planes field is checked. Any comments, suggestions or similar problems? Thank you in advance!

And sometimes, if the render completes, the image doesn't save in any format! Bah!

no help unfortunately other than to say that I don't have this problem with 2008 - either on my laptop nor on my PC... so far.

There was a very similar problem back in R7 if I remember correctly. Submit it as a support issue, maybe it's an easy fix and we'll see it show up soon.

Agree with Jeffery - this is a support request issue. This is something some others have mentioned, but it's not an across the board problem. I've been running renders in the Beta for months and in this release with no issues. Do you have the latest build? (from the download - not the DVD).

Remember, the OpenGL settings are not going to have any effect on Rendering whatsoever. Those settings pertain to the moment to moment redrawing of the main window and graphics - panning, zooming and AMG shadows are where you see these performance improvements.

    Gentlemen,
Thank youvery much for your help. I guess I'll just create a support request.
