    Default Twisted driveway

I just finished and introductory class, so am new to Revit and like it. I am looking to show a driveway that has high points at opposing corners and low points at opposing corners. The driveway is mounted on pilings and has about 4 layers of thickness.

The second challenge is the positioning of the stairs.

I have drawn everything in 2D AutoCAD 2006. And I have 8 vertical posts/pilings drawn.

I think I need just a few articulate instructions.

Any help is appreciated. I have the 2D AutoCAD and 3 D Revit file and my cell is 310 402-1522.
    Thank you!

    Michael

Can you post a sketch or images of the drawings to help explain what you want more precisely? You can attach images to your posts and or a cadd file.

Two opposing corner high points and two opposing corner low points... Sounds like a blend with the top and bottom oriented in elevation. Id make it as a family, because i hate site tools, lol...

Unless i am misunderstanding the intent?

That makes sense now - I had no idea what he might be after until I saw your image. Maybe the new slab modifiers would be good for this as well?

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm curious to see how you guys might approach a simple slope slab with the new tools in RAC 2008.

A blend mass is the way to go, and then... hmm there's no such thing as Floor by face, I'm afraid. But I'm curious to check out the new slab modifier.

EDIT: turns out there IS a floor by face option... (modeling on the menu bar, and then 'floor by face') so just create a mass blend, and pick the resulting surface as a face for your floor.

Definately do it with the new floor tool. It will take only seconds to create the shape.
