Unhappy AutoCAD LT 2007 with SP2 applied, appears to be running slow

My LT has become very very slow recently and I'm quite often looking at "Not responding" at the top of my screen.

I'm trying to get to the bottom of it and the only recent change I have made has been to install Service Pack 2.

Has anyone else had similar troubles? I've tried all the usual disk clear-outs, and defrags etc. but so far to no avail.

The service pack tends to go through various testing stages so I'd be suprised if that was the culprit.
Do you have any third party extensions installed?

No, no extensions of any kind.

Like you say, I'd be surprised too, just looking at all the options to narrow down the cause.

There's only a few more things I could suggest:

Have any of your IT guys been fiddling with the network particularly if you have support files such as templates, plot styles etc saved across a network?
How much free space do you have on the local hard drive, you should have at least 2gb free space?
    Virus/spyware/malware scans all upto date?
Windows service packs etc all up to date?

Other than that I'm out of suggestions unfortunately

    No,
    Yes,
    Yes,
    And yes!

Still doing it, just can't find the answer. It's ony AutoCAD that does it, and it locks the whole computer up at the same time.
