Whenever I print a drawing, all of the masses that I draw seem to be transparent. The outline is there showing where the mass is, but all the items behind the mass are showing through.
Any ideas on how I can fix this??
Thanks!!!!!

Check the material properties that are used for these masses - there is a transparency setting there. 2008 also has a new 'transparent' setting found in the visibility/graphics menu. Also make sure you have 'shaded with edges' selected.
PS: Is it just when u print, or does it show up on the screen too?
It's only when I print. It shows up like it's supposed to on the screen.Originally Posted by mibzim
Make sure it is actually turned on under View Visibility and graphics. Masses can be shown in a view, but not actually turned on.

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I have been having the same issue and get double brick on my plots & on the dwg exports, one from the wall and one from the mass. I can't find anything that works except to remove the pattern from all of my brick materials.
What do you have your mass material set to? Sounds like you have a brick applied...
OK I just discovered the Appearance section in the print setup. I first selected the shading with edges (Thanks Mibzim) - Changed the Colors under the appearance section to Gray scale and hit print. No double brick
Thanks All
It was my understanding that Masses always print transparent... I would just change my mass to a Model family. Its basically a copy paste type of deal.
I'm having the same problem, except my masses are always showing up as transparent. And transparent and purple in 3-d shaded with edges view. I do not have transparency turned on in Visibility and Graphics. Any Ideas?
thanks
