I need help with a block that I've created. I want to be able to rotate and stretch the line and triangle. But for some reason my stretch is acting up.

imo - a polar stretch would be more efficient than a seperate stretch / rotate. if you dont do that, you just need to double check you selection sets. probably easiest to just rebuild the stretch and rotate actions.
This aggression will not stand. Man.
You just need to remove the actions from rotate selection set. To do so, double click the rotate action, and key in "r", then select the stretch and flip actions. Everything will then work as intended. Just to let you know adding actions to another actions selection set can yeild some whacky results.Originally Posted by BRENDA_GZZ_GOMEZ
to answer your question, remove all affected actions by actions.Originally Posted by BRENDA_GZZ_GOMEZ
to check what i mean: select an action. if it highlights another action, double click, type 'r' (remove), enter, then select the action to remove it from the set. with stretches, just hit 'enter' to keep the stretch window defined as is and move onto the selection mode.
your block worked fine once i removed all the 'lightning' actions from under other actions.
Sometimes, i get lost in my own thoughts and need to ask directions to find my way back.

ah, so you HAVE been paying attention!!Originally Posted by marklabell
i actually remove ALL actions from under actions unless they're independent basepoint actions. (modified scale & rotate)

actually, for section cuts, i still preferr the rotate/linear combo. don't have to worry about the line going slightly out of line from direction i'm wanting...Originally Posted by Chad_C

You know it. The DB info you have been putting out in AUGI is my heroin. I'll shut it before I inflate the ego!Originally Posted by Chris.N

set your angle increment to something nice and round, say... 15 degrees.Originally Posted by Chris.N
acutally come to think of it - our section cuts are two seperate actions also. (probably because they are heavily borrowed from yours in the first place ) /shrug
