Default Can I make a scalable family?

I have a company logo that is to be an exterior building sign. I may want to have different sizes of the sign logo around the building. Right now I have imported an AutoCAD drawing of the logo into the family editor, using the face-based family template. I plan to create a simple extrusion using the lines from the imported CAD file. Is there any way I can create some sort of scale parameter, so I can scale the sign logo size up or down as needed?

A bit a roundabout way but worked for me
extrude your text in auto cad
import into generic face based family
Nest the family into a Planting family set the size of the "tree"
to 1 or 10 or whatever you like
load Family into project you will have to do this in a plan view
you can make different scaled versions by changing the tree size
English is not my first language i hope i made myself clear
    if not ask for details

Another perfect example of a parameter we NEED. I had the same signage issue last week and had to make seperate families for the different sizes.

I guess I would like to suggest that a generic family have all of the possible family features within it. This way we don't feel like we're using a workaround when we really are.

Interesting idea there. The CAD file is a bunch of poly-lines, not actual text (it's a very stylized logo).... okay, it's the Coca-Cola logo So yeah, would that method still work for polylines? I've already made a generic face-based extrusion by selecting the imported polylines as the extrusion sketch lines.

It should work see the family i attached
linking the scale factor of the imported Dwg works also but the scaling goes all over the place.well maybe centering the Origin would fix that
