    Default List of coordinates

    I created a 3D model within RS2008. Within this model a lot of coordinates have to be used. of course I used the Spot Coordinate tool to do the trick.
    However, I also would like to just tag some points and give these elements a unique mark, eg 1,2,3,4,5 etc.
    Than I want to have a schedule (Note block I think), with 3 columns:
    mark || X-coordinate || Y-coordinate
    1 || 1000 || 500
    2 || 700 || 800

    Anyone any idea how to do this in Revit?

    Thanks, Renzo

    I would create a "Generic Model Component" and note it with the Spot Coordinate as you did in other cases. (This gets you part 1)

    In order to schedule it, you'll need shared parameters in family you just added listing the coordinates. And, you'll need to coordinate those parameters with the actual coordinates manually.

    Hope this helps.

    Its very frustraighting to see the coordinates as reported by the spot coord tool. And not have access to the Easting and Northing as Parameters we can use elsewhere. Schedlues of Coordinates are used alot within our office. We have gone out of the way in Autocad to avoid manual entry of these, as mistakes can creep in. I'm hoping this is high on the list for addition in to future versions. Please Revit Devs.... Please......

    This POST at Malleristic Revitation might be useful. You might also consider contacting support to explain how you use this in your workflow so they understand what your needs are, on the off chance that they haven't encountered a pressing need before.
