Default AutoCAD 2008 - Make a hole in a Solid

    Hi all,
In Acad2007 I can draw a circle (or rectangle) on a solid face, hold down ctrl alt to create a region, then push back into the solid to create a hole. I can't do it in 2008. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Just found the answer in another thread - selection preview has to be turned on.
