Default Can I disable this new text command entry feature?

I don't care for the new text entry feature. I never know where my input cursor is when I am entering a text command. I also hate seeing my crosshairs drag a huge dialog box around the screen. Can I shut it off and go back to entering my text at the old command line?

right click on the dynamic input button (image 1) and disable pointer input (image 2). try out the different check boxes in the dialog to get the results you want. and CTRL +9 will show / hide your command line if it isnt visible.
