I am currently considering Civil 3d as a software to create solid models of highway interchanges etc for a working and planning tool for an existing design. I am experienced in Autocad Thu versions of 2005. Does the civil 3d version support all the drawing menus of the standard Auto-cad. In other words what I would like to do with this software is incorporate both earthwork features with structures etc. I usually use solid modeling techniques to simulate my structures and equipment. If this version will not support the solid drawing functions could I draw it on a standard version of Ac ad and import it to known coordinates? Any information is appreciated.
