Default Modelspace objects will not Plot Preview or Plot

OK, this might be an elementary question, but I can't seem to figure out the solution to it. maybe because it's the Friday before a holiday weekend....

but anyway, I had someone in my office come to me with a issue of not being able to plot something in model space. They had pulled a portion of a drawing off to the side so that they could manipulate it for an alternate design and then print it. The issue is that it won't preview or print when they window it for printing. But.....when they pull it back towards the original drawing area, it previews and prints. Some kind of limits setting?

Plotting by "limits", by "window", by "extents" or by "display"? Okay, not by "extents"

Window probably seems the easiest but the values of limits are remembered so they are repeatable.
Just possibly, if the area was copied to the side after all the editing was finished, it may be worth checking that the variable "Limcheck" is zero, not 1.
