Question Autocad detail imported to revit

I had imported my typical details from autocad to my revit project. How do I control the lineweight of my dwg detail to look fine in revit? I hope there is not re tracing involve.

There is a file that governs how lineweight is imported and assigned. You gain access to these settings via FILE>IMPORT/EXPORT SETTINGS>IMPORT LINEWEIGHTS DWG/DXF. You assign a color to a lineweight. If you are consistently using bylayer color in your details it should be easy to map your acad lineweights to Revit pens.

If you have already imported your details then you have two options:
Use OBJECT STYLES setting under the annotation tab to define the lineweights layer by layer for each import and/or you can do this in each view with Visibility/Graphics on the DWG/DXT/DGN CATEGORIES tab.

Last, if you have already imported your details and are loathe to visit each file's settings in Object Styles or Vis/Gra...then it might be more palatable to setup the import lineweight settings and redo the import of the details, might take "less" time.

Maybe you could save some time utilising the 'View Templates' by applying this to your import views.
