    Default Odd shaped slanted wall

I might have missed this on the forum but I just wonder if it’s possible to create odd shaped slanted wall, roof or ceiling in Revit like the one on attached image. I’m using wire frame just to show that neither edge of the solid is parallel to any orthogonal plane.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. I’ve spent a good part of the weekend trying to do this with little luck so far.

I'd suggest using a Blend. See attached.

    All the best -

    Phil

    PS - Here ya go.

BTW - you could also create an extruded roof and then cut out what you don't need. Or with slopes or slope arrows (if it's a roof).

In other words - there are a couple of ways - and each method depends on what you're trying to accomplish. The type of relationship (wall/roof/floor/ceiling/family component), how many are needed (one in place - or 50 dotted around a project), what kind of relationships the peices need to maintain to each other and the project, how they should schedule and how they need to be represented when documented are going to influence the appropriate path to take.

You could also add a slope arrow to a footprint roof to achieve this.

Hey Phil, this really did the trick! Never thought about it. Now it looks soooo... simple and obvious.
    Thanks a lot.

Beegee, I need to admit that this probably the simplest solution. Once again dearly appreciate your help.

In the example I posted, I used a footprint roof, so only roof based objects could be hosted in that.

If you make a wall as an in-place family, then windows and doors will be hosted and can be placed from a 3D view.
