    Default GFI??

I placed a GFI in my bathroom wall, but when I changed the height so that the outlet will be at its correct elevation the "GFI" tag is disappearing. I looked at it from a camera view and the outlet is actually still there but I cannot see it on my electrical plan. Why is that?

If you moved it up over 4', the default height of the view cut plane, it'll dissappear.

The easiest fix, assuming you only have a few of these, is to place a plan region around the outlet, and adjust it's cut plane to cut the outlet.

Check the view range. A lot of times I'll have a power & lighting plan as a ceiling plan so that I'm looking up. That and I set the cut plain at about 12". I've also found the electrical fixtures that ship with revit are fussy so I've made my own to work at 1/8" and 1/4" scales.
