Question Shift & Mouse Wheel Click for 3D orbit doesnt work properly

I'm using ADT 2007. the default setting for holding down Shift+ Mouse Wheel Click on my computer and mouse is set to 3-D Orbit. I use this often... very Often... up until today it worked just fine. halfway through the day it worked just fine. NOW i get a message telling me that walk and fly can only be viewed in perspective??? it gives me the option to toggle to perspective view, either choice flashes a walk & fly tool palette, (i cant tell exactly what it is since it goes too fast) and it disappears faster than it appears. a few more quick tries and i get this... (FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0021 Exception at 441baah).

    determining factors???

    1. i was working with multi-view block display settings/ as well as creating new MVB
    2. 2 weeks ago i downloaded a Simpson strong tie drop down menu (this was the last "add on" in customizing ADT.
    3. short power outage yesterday (but i have two power surge protectors, one w/ battery backup)

this is all drawings, including new ones.
works properly the first use in the new dwg than quit's
checking "do not show me this again" is ignored and pops up again the next time i use it.

Exclamation Re: Shift & Mouse Wheel Click for 3D orbit doesnt work properly

OK... now i went into my CUI settings and checked my mouse click settings. changed my shift+Click to just 3D orbit, and it started out showing the 3D orbit display, then switched back to the walk and fly display, gave me the option to go to a perspective, i hit esc and it shut my ADT down completely.

    HELP!!!!!

We had a customer the other day experiencing issues with the simpson strong tie plug in as well. try uninstalling the plugin first and see if normal use returns. if still no good run a repair install on ADT.

i wasn't sure if it was the SST-O menu or not. i did a repair last night and it was still happening last night. i came in this morning and it worked just fine???. but i unloaded the Simpson strong tie cui just in case. ill let you know if i have any more problems with it. thanks for the help

P.S. SST needs to fix the bugs, that was helpful.

There is also a link on their download page for getting support with their plug-in. I recommend getting in touch with them if you find it was causing the errors.
