    Default Parcels with curves

I'm new with C3D and currently doing a lot of studying, but this is realy confusing me:
in every single tutorial or help file there are parcels which have curves in one side (parcels around cul-de-sacs). This seems OK for learning process or sketching or if you consider C3D parcels not as property landshapes/lots, but in real world lot can't have a curve. How will surveyor survey it?

    What's your experience with this?

You can curves in parcels, I never seen one but a parcel could consist of nothing but curves and can be surveyed just fine.

Many times, the surveyor will ask for the radial bearings of a curves along with the typical Tangent, Delta, Radius, Radius coordinates and Length. With this data you can easily lay out a curved lot or parcel.

Well, in the country I live they don't make lots with curves. Just point coordinates, points connected with straight lines. Draftsmen think it would be nice theoretically to have parcels with curves, architects just blink their eyes and say - we don't complicate our lives with curves in property parcels.

I think they (the Architects in your country) need to start thinking "outside of the Box"!

    Literally!

What country is that? It seems very strange.

    Hi Sinc,
In his first post, he had his location as Latvia. Different strokes for different folks.

Another question about ROW command considering that parcels in "my" country must be without curves. If I place an Aligment over the parcel I wish to subdivide and then use Create ROW command (with Cleanup Method selected as "None" in both - Parcel Boundaries and Alignment Intersections) then everything goes fine unless an Alignment makes angle. In this case I get the outer parcel line with curve. Is there any way I can avoid this?

Have you tried using the Chamfer option for your ROW creation?

    Yes, I have.
Here are my printscreens. No matter what options I use, I get outer corner rounded.
I wonder whether it might be some system variable that states principle of ofsetting outer corner, like OFFSETGAPTYPE system variable for OFFSET command?
