Default Batch export to an earlier version of CAD

i have a project that we are trying to send files out to a sub on, and they are still using AutoCAD 2000. is there some way i can do a batch save-as / export for quite a few drawings to 2000? i tried e-transmit, but it crashed everytime i did. there are a number of xref's, but i would like to keep xref's seperate (not bound) to the various files they are referenced in. i managed to export some with xref's bound, and file sizes went from 1k to 40mb, which is ridiculous imo.

eTransmit is the way.... but if you can't get it work....

Are you running a vertical or is this vanilla AutoCAD?

You could also use DWGTrueConvert if you have the older version. If not, the DWG converter is part of DWG TrueView now.

You might want to start the download now - it's a big one.

Just some guesses, but maybe one of the drawings or reference drawings:
    • ...needs to be Recovered or have Audit run on it.
    • ...is missing a reference of it's own, like a shape file?
    • ...is locked
    • ...has some other sort of problem that would cause a dialog to appear in the editor?
