    Question New computer for Revit

My lease on my current Dell is about to run out and I'm scouting around for a new PC to replace it.
I'll use it for Revit, but also for everything else (including the occasional game).
I figure on spending about 3K or so for the CPU and a flat screen monitor.

I looked at the Vaio with a Pentium 4 processor but nothing else so far.

    Any recommendations???

Take a look at the hardware forum in general & then at the benchmark test results to see what pefrorms to your needs

You may want to wait a little while if you can, I've heard rumors of some new boxes coming out that will be far better than whats currently available. If you must buy now, there is currently no better setup that I know of then the dual xeon's with 2 gig memory min. You can get a great deal on these usually on dells refurbished website.
