I have a user that when he opens AutoCAD, it closes right away. It won't stay open long enough to blink. Any suggestions?

Has AutoCAD ever worked for this user? I've seen this happen with non-supported graphics cards and AutoCAD. You may want to download the latest graphics card drivers to see if this helps as well as check out the supported hardware page:

With AutoCAD LT, I've had issues with Data Execution Prevention in windows not allowing AutoCAD to start up.Originally Posted by amanda_duvall
I've never heard of it happening on regular AutoCAD however.

I have never seen a case where the user did not get a message like the attached when a client could not obtain a license.
I doubt that is the reason.
Is this a standalone seat installed from a media disk, or a multi-seat stand alone or network licensed seat installed from a deployment?Originally Posted by amanda_duvall
What happens if you log in as a different user on this machine and try to start AutoCAD?
How many files are in the temp directory?
