Detail component not behaving

I created a foundation column symbol (generic model), and thought 'why not attach a section detail at the same time'.
So I now have a generic model with model lines on the reference view, a detail component on center left/right, and the same detail component on center front/back. I also added a cylindrical extrusion that only shows in my 3D-view (see attached family).

It used to work great. But now it shows the extrusion in my section, eventho it's set to only show in the 3D view, and the detail component shows no filled regions (just one single line). What might've gone wrong?
