More nesting issues

Well, I had hoped to make a simple Switch family, with all the Revit switches we need loaded as nested families and controlled via types, yes/no parameters and visibility. But it seems that there is a bug with nested families that themselves contain nested annotation symbols. All the annotation symbols disappear when you do this, but the face plate, which is not a nested annotation, does not. Anyone else see the same thing? Is this documented some where? Is this rational and for a reason, or just a bug?
