    Default Yes / No param

Although I've seen the concept discussed here (& couldn't find any threads) I've tried to apply a simple yes/no condition to a cornice sweep on a door. I've got the sweep part, it's applying the visibilty condition to it that has me stumped.

In the Properties of the Sweep itself in the Family, you have a set of Graphics properties, there is a little button at the end of the Visibile line that will take you into the Associate Family Parameter dialog box where you can assign the Yes/No parameter to your Sweep. Then, create the various Types under Family Types, at least one On and one Off and you're done. Remember to "flex the model" to make sure it goes on and off for the Family Types you created. Good luck.
