Hello every body,
when trying to place line based family component Revit ignores snap settings, even snap override... using the latest build (20070607_1700). Is this intended / confirmed behaviour?

After little bit more trying it seem to me it goes this way:
- if the line based (2pick) component is placed with setting "place on face" - (for example floor), it behaves as described - during the time of placement even if e.g. snapping to end of some line, component is placed just on the place where the mouse arrow just is, ignoring the snap settings or even override.
- if it is placed with setting "place on work plane", than everything goes ok, snapping works.
Don't know if it is just what it should be or not, but I'm glad that at least this second option works for me:-]
