Default First Braced Frame Elevations (simple questions I hope?) :)

    See the attached image below.

    1. Its our standard to show Detail View Callouts as round instead of as a box. I don't see how/where to make that change. I don't think its possible but would appreciate some confirmation.

    2. I change the beams Element Properties to show the stick symbol location as "Location Line". Top of member displays the exact same for me btw. After doing that the braces appear to go to their old work point, and look odd. I would like for them to go to the analytical line location as displayed in the jpg. The brace stick symbols still point to the old work point. Is there any way to change their display properties so they connect to the analytical line locations?

I asked the same question to Autodesk and it is now on the wish list.
I can make the callout round but only upto 2'-0" in diameter. Make a circle of 2 ft in diameter using detail line and then create a callout a little bigger. Now use the grips of the callout and it will become circular.

Well, the 2' limit is based on the radius of the callout box and the scale you are at. If you need it to be bigger, you can make a new callout family (I recommend duplicating it so this doesn't screw up any blow up plan views you have). To do this go to Settings -> View Tags -> Callout tag -> change the radius from 1/8". Then follow the procedure above.
