Animated sequencing
I have a 2d drawing of a boiler. A new engineer sent me an e-mail asking me if I can do an automated drawing that will blink or light up a sootblower sequencing, sped up to show a 24 hour period in just a few minutes.
If it can be done in ACAD 2008, I haven't seen it. The only idea I have is to do slides for Power Point with each section highlighted.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Give people a job worth doing, the tools to do it, recognition of a job well done & get out of the way.

You can create slides in acad (mslide) and use a script to view them (vslide) but, of course, only inside acad.
Using different areas of hatching can simulate movement.

I haven't made slides since ACAD 12, but should be able to do it. Thanks for the hatching idea. It will give me something to play with when I get back from AU.Originally Posted by jaberwok
