Question Wildcard for drawing filename in a script

I am working on a script file to save a .dwg, .dxf, and .pdf for an AutoCAD drawing file. Everything is great if if I have the file save to the default directory. I am wanting it to save the .dwg, .dxf, and .pdf to a different directory but with the same filename (as the drawing file that is open). I can type the new path from the command line (within the script), but am not sure how to specify the filename (since it is different for every drawing) without having it pause for someone to type it in manually. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Hi

If you are using AutoCAD (not AutoCAD LT) you could look at adding a little bit of AutoLISP to your script to take care of your needs.

    Have a good one, Mike
