Update shared parameters
When I upgraded to revit 2010 I loaded it on a new laptop and I don't have or can't seem to find shared parameters. When i try to add a shared parameter to a family it says folder empty. 2009 is still on my old desktop computer but i can't find where the shared parameters are stored and I don't know where to put them on the new computer when I do find them.

I´m not sure about 2009, but i think it´s under the general "Settings"...
In 2010, it´s located under the "Manage" tab > See the attached.

I'm looking for the location of the folder with the .txt files on my computer.

Yep, and since you still have 2009 running, you´ll be able to find the path to the .txt file from within "Settings"....
