Explode block refernce

I am looking for a command that will explode a block but keep the attributes in-tack. At my previous job we had this but I have come to realize that was a custom command there. Does anyone know where I might find this? I am using Autodesk Map 2005.

An express tool "Burst" does this, do you have express tools?
