Bends

I am a new Inventor user with little experience. I have a problem with bends. I am trying to put two(2) 30deg bends in a piece of round rod.

I have reviewed the information in the help area on Inventor on Bends, but it doesn't give enough information for me. Can anyone provide more help in this area?

Can you post what you have so far? My guess is a Sweep would be more appropriate anyhow if the rods are simply circular in profile.

I can't say that I have anything to post so far. I have been playing with this by drawing an elongated round rod and then trying to bend it in the middle using the bend feature. However, I have difficulty following the procedure. I am missing a step somewhere.

Were you able to get the rod bent in the middle using the bend feature? Once you have the rod created, create a new sketch longitudinally through the bar and draw a line for the bend line. Note if the line does not touch the part you will not be able to bend it. Finish the sketch and select the bend feature. Specify the bend angle, the direction as required.
