You can also try creating a view template from a working elevation and apply that to the elevation you are having problems.

I just tried the last two suggestions without any luck. hmmm...
I even tried deleting ALL the elevations from the file and placing in brand new elevations. I had the same results, all fine except the one.
I'm stumped! It's the same stacked wall I used throughout the model, so I feel like it has to be a view issue.
Okay! mystery solved...
For whatever reason this one particular elevation demands far clip be set to 'clip with line'.
(even though my other five elevations are all on no clip...interesting)
I'm still having this problem and found a different solution.
My solution was to turn off "show imported categories in view." The only imported categories were floor plan items. However, they still managed to influence the elevation and mess up the hidden lines.
