    Default Add new objects with OD to an SHP connected

    Hi,

    I need to Add several DWG objects with Object Data attached to Shape connection.
    How can do It without to loose the attribute data?

    You can export those map objects with OD to another shp file, then connect to it and use the bulk copy to append it to the other shp file. I haven't tried it yet but that the way it is supposed to work.

    Before executing a command that will zap an object that you'd really like to keep, select them and do "Copy with base point" with a known base. Do your command, then paste using the previous point to get your objects back.

    I do this often enough that I made a couple toolbar buttons. One does copybase at 0,0 and the other does a paste at 0,0. It also gets around the part where "Paste to original coordinates" does not act within the same drawing.
