Hi All,
Our LA office is taking over a project that was originally created in our San Diego office. Since projects (and all drawings for that matter) run more smoothly when located on a local server I copied all of the files and project information to the local network drive in the LA office. My designer in the LA office changed the path(s) in the project navigator to the local drive.
Now here's the problem, When he tries to open any drawing within the project the drawing still tries to open the drawings from the SD office. The weird thing is when you go to the xref manager the path shows fs001/sys/dataj/obfiles/20701/ACAD/Constructs. even though I have xref pathing set to relative. The other weird thing is we call fs001/sys the F: here in SD and LA calls fs002/sys the F: there but the PN isn't trying to find the F: it's actually looking for fs001/sys.
I have asked my designer to remove the pathing to fs001 on his machine and see if the navigator will then use the pathing specified in the PN but I would think the PN pathing would take precedence over the xref pathing.
Sorry this is so long winded any help will be appreciated.
