The hatching in your CMU Section did some wonky things, but I actually very much liked your stone veneer block. And you did the same vis state thing as you did with the Z-Girts from your previous blocks.

    Rico,

Yeah, not sure why the CMU hatch wont update....Any ideas? I have Instruction/Limitation sheets hyperlinked to some of the DB's with quirks until I get them worked out. The attached file is the sheet for the CMU. There is a simple workaround to get it to update properly.

    Thanks,
    Brent

I DID happen to notice that the width has to be set before you stretch it otherwise the hatch will go wonly. but again, when you have it big and want it small, but the same size, the hatch doesn't seem to work .... is the hatch associative?

yes, the hatch is associative. This one perplexed me as to the cause but then I had to move on to other things. I havent had a chance yet to revisit it. At the time, I tried everything I could think of (including re-making the block from scratch) and got the same results

I'm sure we could figure out what it is ... unfortunately my time has been extremely limited and I'm not sure that I'll be able to be much help until the fall. Sorry.

try putting your hatch in a closed polyline. it may require modifying your block a little but i think that will fix it.

edit - actually i looked at your other blocks and they dont do that. odd.

Funny you mention that...I did actually try it. I dont recall what the outcome with the hatch was but the polyline took away the ability to control line colors on the cmu which takes away lineweights in our plotstyle. I could have put the polyline on a noplot layer i guess but Im kinda anal about lines on top of lines.
