    Default Modifying wall layer

I am trying to modify a wall vertical structure so that I can strech the siding and plywood up past the second floor deck. I am able to unlock the base of the layer,s but when I unlock the top of the layer I get an error message "Cannot extend layer(s) of the highlighted vertically compound wall". Does this feature only apply to the base of walls? Any ideas to get around this problem?

    Thank you for your help!

it should work. one problem is that your layers are not next to each other. they have to be touching for this to work. for example you could not have the stucc and the interior gwb extend.
