When plotting dwg's, raster images (usually a jpeg) do not plot correctly. I get a black box covering what should be the image. Does anyone know of any reason why this is happening? Thanks in advance!

Are the image files attached via OLE/copy&paste/the clipboard or by using one of the autocad Image commands?
as....
xref > attach > image
autocad 2008
That's good - it rules out OLE as the culprit.Originally Posted by nancylizama

Thanks anyway! I've had this problem the last 2 versions of Autocad.
does your plotter support raster images? does it have enough memory to plot the image?
Yes, the plotters support images. Everyone else here is able to plot them just fine; it's just on my end somewhere that something is messed up. Go figure!
Check your driver and make sure you have the latest one. I was just replying to another post with the same problem. It was my driver. The version I had was too old and didn't support raster images. Once I updated the driver, it worked perfectly.
all drivers are up to date and i still get the plotting problem.
if going to a network printer, i would print from other station (verify it worked)
then copy "other.pc3", place in your acad plotters location,
then try to plot using this new "other.pc3" and see what happens.
